Biography

Being an Information Technology consultant, Manmeet has 19 years of Internet professional experience. He is an active member and participant of the global domain name industry, related activities and events in India to develop a thriving domain name investor community.

Manmeet is also an active community member at ICANN, Internet Society as a sitting Vice President of Delhi Chapter, and other Internet governance forums both globally and in India. He has been 3 times recipient of ICANN Fellowship, now an alumnus, coach and actively participate in nGTLD Subsequent Procedures PDP working group. He is also an active member/observer of Nominating Committee 2 working party.

With a stellar track record of being a community builder and serial entrepreneur, he has been able to develop some of the largest Internet Technology related community-driven events to promote domain names (brand name: DomainX), blogging (brand name: BlogX), digital marketing (brand name: Internet Roundtable), games/sports among Internet professionals (GameX &a India Games Week), etc. just to name few.

As a domain name investor and consultant, Manmeet has provided domain name consulting to several Fortune 500 clients and big league companies in India to acquire premium keyword domain names for their business.

His achievements in the domain name industry include and not limited to selling of 143.com for $150,000 in 2015, Airfare.in to JMM Interactive for $18,000 in 2016, CreateResume.org to Job.com Inc. in 2011 (details NDA), LasVegasArena.com to a Vegas based businessman, etc. He has also sold Tuly.com to a Canadian Company in his early days of the career, VisitHimalayas.com to Travel Boutique Online which is India’s largest B2BTravel Portal, and many more. Not only domain names, he also sold @bhangra twitter account for five figure sum to the ABC Digital Distribution, a United Kingdom based company representing the largest portfolio of Bhangra music in the world.
